Self activated when mounted on bracket. Alarm memory feature alerts user if the alarm has sounded since the last time the test/reset button was depressed. Smart Hush temporarily silences nuisance alarms for approx. 10 minutes and will not allow Hush Mode unless unit is in alarm mode.
